Adoption of WW1 Unknown Sailor War Graves

Following a tour of the War Graves at St. Peter's Churchyard in April 2007, the branch adopted the two World War One Unknown Sailors graves.
The branch will ensure the graves are maintained and the headstones are clean.

SUBMARINERS ASSOCIATION: EAST KENT BRANCH
The Submariners Association is an association of ex and serving submariners which seeks to maintain the special bonds of friendship, loyalty and comradeship, together with a pride in the Submarine Service, formed during service in Her Majesty's Submarines. The East Kent Branch meets on the 1st Sunday of each month.Click here for more information.

Branch History
The South East Kent Branch of the Submarine Old Comrades Association was formed on April 2nd 1952 at the Stag Hotel Walmer.
In January 2003, at an Extra ordinary Annual General Meeting it was decided to move the venue of the Branch meetings from Deal and Walmer to Margate Royal British Legion Club.
The branch name was changed to the EAST KENT BRANCH.
