On 14th October 2006, Ramsgate RNA twinned with the Zeeland Branch of the Royal Dutch Naval Association.
The East Kent branch were invited to attend the event to meet the submariners among the ranks of the Dutch.
Our Dutch friends also expressed a wish to meet Jim Thomsett.
The Branch presented the President of the Zeeland Branch with a commemorative plate. The Dutch responded by presenting us with a model of one of their boats.
