No response from Guinness on items for Jim’s birthday. The secretary had written to Guinness telling them about Jim and the fact that for the last 30 years he had drunk a glass of Guinness every day. A request was made for some bunting or indeed any promotional material to make Jim’s 90th birthday meeting a little special. It was with astonishment and disappointment that not even an acknowledgement of the letter had been received by the branch.
MarineScan design may have gone out of business. The secretary will continue to investigate. The meeting was informed a Set-Up fee would be required if we go to another firm.
