Paid Off 1945 then scrapped in 1946 at Durban South Africa.
Wartime Exploits: Clyde took part in the Magic Carpet run ferrying
supplies from Alexandria to Malta in 1942.
On 20th June 1944 - Clyde torpedoed and damaged the battlecruiser
“Gneisenau” .
