Wartime Exploits:
In September 1943, Satyr was in Scapa Flow.
She was a reserve boat for Operation ‘Source’, the midget submarine attack on Tirpitz .
‘S’ and ‘T’ boats were used to tow X-Craft across to the fjords
Dec 1943 Satyr sent on mission to attack enemy shipping in and off the
Skudenes Fjord near Stavanger.
In 1944 Satyr sunk the German U-Boat U987.
